Apps Unlock in SP2003?

I also did upgrade few moments after I bought it. And I like it very much.

I have just one little problem. It seems that my version of SP2003 is app locked cause few programs won't install. It just says that it don't have adequate system permissions.

I found just Alphaflux Unlock for unlockin, but it works only in SP2002.

Does anybody have same problem?

Apps that I found that don't work are:

Pocket Clive (http://www.surrealservices.dsl.pipex.com/PocketClive.html)

other SpaceMonkey's stuff installs without problems.

Doom & Wolfenstein3D (http://www.spv3d.tk/)

Nothin' much, but I would like to play them, especially PocketClive. I'm old fan of Spectrum.

It seems that is just partially lock cause all other apps that I tried installed nice. Signed and unsigned.

I reversed to SP2002 just to try to install these apps and it worked.

Now I'm back to 2003 and hoping that someone will help me appsunlock my phone.

can you tell us what phone you have?

all the htc phones - spv / e100 / e200 / c500 / smt5600 can be unlocked following instructions on the < ota > link

if you are in the us with smt5600 you need to put htre phone in cradle and connect to the internet on pass through

all two versions of WM2003 for MPX200 are application unlocked. so you don't need to unlock it, maybe the apps that your installing are not made to run on WM2003 platform. but if your sure that they do, try to do a hard reset on your phone and try to install the apps. again. remember that you have to fully charge your phone first (as in 100% charge) before you do the hard reset so that you can fully utilize the maximum performance out of your battery, and of course you should backup your data. :wink:

Its the mpx200. Did you buy it from ATT and upgraded it? Or is it from Orange, etc.? If its the latter, then chances are, its application locked.

it really does'nt matter if it came from orange or att. the moment you upgrade your phone to WM2003, it will surely application unlock your phone automatically. application lock option is embeded in the ROM, not like network lock which would stay with its status even if you upgrade ROM. :lol:

I have Mpx200. I don't think that my mobile is apps locked 'cause when I went back to SP2002 those apps worked. It's something in rom.

Maybe they don't work on Mpx200's SP2003 like ronny says.

There are differencies in _setup.xml.

WM2k2: "Storage Card"

WM2k3: "Mounted Volume"

Unpack cab file, replace the strings in _setup.xml and pack cab again (use cabarc.exe for example). It will work.
