qtec 7070 smartphone

I have a qtec 7070 smartphone and when i charge the phone the led display should be solid amber while charging but on the phone this does not happen as per the instructions and when i turn the phone on only the qtec7070 smartphone logo in the cloud's appear's and nothing else, i then cannot turn the phone off at it's switch i have to remove the battery if anyone can help this would be much appreciated.

how do i go about a hard reset

i have tried this and it turn's on and states card found , then it tell's me to press any key to enter bootloader and then i get a screen with

canary mv v1.07.4m in red&white, canary mv v1.07.4m in green&yellow,canarymv v1.07.4m in blue and grey and down the bottom serial in white then nothing happen's is the action key the navigation pad

Timing is important when doin a hard reset mate.

When I see the 'Card Found..Press any key...' , I quickly press and hold the Action button until I get into the Canary Diag screen then I press '8. Erase IPSM'

Remove your Storage Card also prior to a Hard reset.
