As far as I am aware mate

Must have led to some dought,

this could be implememted but would cost so much for phone bills and quality would rubbish.

as yet it has not been done.

I would like my c500 as a USB (maybe BlueTooth?) webcam. Quality would probably not be very good, but still better then nothing. If it can do 320*240 at ~5fps I'm happy. Fun for the occasional waving-at-friends or showing my cute sleeping cat to my girlfriend

Hopefully such an app will be released. I think it should be possible. Perhaps a souped-up version of the Windows Mobile Powertools with a better framerate and a webcam driver. The software on the phone can read the camera's input, it should be possible to transmit it and receive it on a computer. Right?

I think this would be possible - try using the Pocket Controller software, and Im sure you can get software that captures your screen and changes it into a 'webcam' - then put your phone in camera mode, and you would have a webcam, prob would work at about 4fps - not sure about with bluetooth?

What do you think?

It may work but just wouldnt be very practical
