Guest xspyda Posted November 12, 2004 Report Posted November 12, 2004 Is it possible to stop the phone when it's ringing without sending it to voicemail right away? Assuming you mean to just stop the audible ringing of the phone without cutting the caller off? If so, yep ... just hit one of the volume buttons when the ringing starts, that will mute the ringing sound but the caller will hear the tone as though it's still going. Eventually, voicemail will take over (if set up).
Guest Cabana Posted November 12, 2004 Report Posted November 12, 2004 Thanks, that really helps. Is there any way to map it to another button?
Guest xspyda Posted November 12, 2004 Report Posted November 12, 2004 Thanks, that really helps. Is there any way to map it to another button? Not found any way to map any apps to another button as yet I am afraid. I would be really interested to know how to change the function of the camera button to operate the task manager for instance ... I guess with cutting the ringing sound, they went for the logical option and decided to put it where they have ... Short answer - I would say not. Apologies, not meaning to hijack your thread
Guest Cabana Posted November 13, 2004 Report Posted November 13, 2004 Thanks - I think a good feature would be to make the reject button stop the ringing on 1 click, send to voicemail on 2.
