C500 - T9 input off but still it predicts!!

Hi all,

Two things but first things first...

When using multitap to send a text, my C500 thinks it's in T9 mode even though the top right symbol shows "abc" (multitap). It doesn't do it all the time but roughly every ten words or so it predicts the word i'm typing. Any ideas, does yours do this?

Also...

Entering text in multitap mode is slow, the keypad doesn't always respond to key presses, is this normal??

Although I'm not a seasoned pro like some of the guys on here, I've had the same experience as you regarding the C500 predicting my next word. I usually ignore it. I just start my next word and the box disapears. I can only imagine someone though they would make texting as helpful as possible...even if you didn't want it.

(I never liked T9 anyway...)
