:!::?: HELP! Screen backlight died completely

Any one got any id´s how to fix this?

When I picked up my phone yesterday the screen backlight suddenly wouldn´t come on :lol: . Tried everything (I think) even a hard reset. But still no light. They keypad still is lit, but the screen.... NOTHING!

I didn´t install anything new recently (and the hard reset should fix this, right?).

So if any of you guys have a clue.....

Phone: unlocked SPV 500C NL. No update installed

First welcome to modaco, If you have tried a hard reset and it does not make a difference then take the phone back to the orange shop or where you got it from and ask for a replacement , make sure they know its simlock free so you will get one back in the same way

Do you think they will give me a simlock free replacement even if I unlocked it myself using http://www.c500-unlock.com/? :wink:

Would be sweet dough.

(I don't think they have simlock free C500's in stock. So I should call the Orange guys en tell them I using a C500 on KPN and ask for the code...)
