Mitac 8390 Hard Reset

Any tips or tricks to getting a Hard Reset on the 8390. So far I have been unable to get it to work.

thanks for the suggestion, but I bought this phone off EBay. I did not get the second battery. I still have yet to get the phone to work.

Reboot and hold down the the down part of the d-pad. it should vibrate and take u into the boot menu, then look for nand format, or something, that should hard restet the phone for u
