Media player Skins

Why cant i install ANY skins for media player on my c500? ive tried loads and none of them display!!!! im deffently doing it correctly, i had the sane problem on my last c500 to so it isnt just the current one?

i remember when i had my c500 there was a directory where you put the .skn file but i have a smt 5600 now and i dont remember what directory to put it,,,

I think you have to change the path for the default skin using the registry.

/HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/Software/Microsoft/Windows Media Player/Parameters

Change DefaultPortraitSkin to point to your skin file.
