Activesync questions: which side takes priority?

Have been using my spv c500 for a little while now, and activesunce seems to get a bit confused...?

How should the sync work, in particular in the following kind of situations:

If i update a contact on the phone, e.g. change the number 100%, will it upodate the pc, or overwrite the phone with PC number?

If i change a contact on the pc, similar question to above?

It depends what you set the rules to in Options.
