Guest kiaman Posted November 14, 2004 Report Posted November 14, 2004 OK if I have the jabra BT250v connected to my C500, and the phone rings, when I press the answer button on the headset, there is a delay of about 1-2 seconds before I hear the other person. They can hear me but I can not hear them, as the phone seems to first answer the call in the handset, then transfer the call to the headset. I have no problems with out going calls, as long as I make them from the handset, as if I voice dial using the headset, there is the same problem. Anyone else have this, or is it just me.
Guest kiaman Posted November 15, 2004 Report Posted November 15, 2004 Must just be my phone. But I thought at least one of the many views this post has had, may of been from someone with the same faults, or a reason for this. Seems I am the only one bothered about the bad bluetooth support in this phone.
Guest ma1234 Posted November 15, 2004 Report Posted November 15, 2004 Maybe its because nobody has any issues with Bluetooth such as you are experiencing. I am using Moto HS810 with none of the problems you complain of.
Guest The Undefeated Posted November 15, 2004 Report Posted November 15, 2004 I dont have anything like that either, using the one orange gave me
Guest five337 Posted November 15, 2004 Report Posted November 15, 2004 Same delay here with a Jabra 250 and SMT5600. Also I have had two times when the phone and headset were sitting on my desk while I was across the room and it just randomly went in to Voice Dail mode and called someone.
Guest TEXMudder Posted November 16, 2004 Report Posted November 16, 2004 You are not alone. I am overall pretty unhappy with the bluetooth headset thing. I cant dial out if the phone is locked. I cant seem to answer a call unless the boom on my HS810 is extended and the phone is unlocked. NOT a common situation for me. So I can use it to dial out after I unlock the phone. To receive a phone call I answer on the phone and then wait for the bluetooth headset to kick in. More hassle than speakerphone at this point.
Guest kiaman Posted November 16, 2004 Report Posted November 16, 2004 I have now tried the headsets I have with all the phones I have, and the only one that gives any problem, is the C500. All in all it is a good handset, easy to use, clear calls, good reception. But the most important thing for me is Bluetooth. I have just got a Nokia 6230, with another free Jabra headset, and this works perfectly with all my headsets, and the Nokia car kit I have in the car, this being the CK-7W, which is nokias latest kit. The C500 just does the same thing with my car kit as it does with the headsets, so now it is going to end up being left at home, instead of taking the place of my V80, which is what I bought it to do. The V80 is far more reliable than the C500, and works faultlesly with the headsets, I have, apart from the HS820 I have, but that is the headset not the phone. For me the BT reliablility of the V80 outways the extra features of the C500.
Guest NIGHTMARE Posted November 21, 2004 Report Posted November 21, 2004 do you also get really poor reception with you bat headset through bluetooth, i have the g2 and even if my phone is in my trouser pocket, i get fuzzing and unclear sound, is this just me or is it a problem with the phone/headset or is it just normal for these headsets to be this poor.
