That's all.

I want to buy a 512Mb SD Card now they're so cheap (I paid £35 for my 256Mb card only a few months ago) but I want to make sure it's compatible with my SPV E200.

I am unable to find the relevant thread?

SORRY, FOR THIS.SORRY, FOR THIS!

i have the same problem i have the e200 with 512mb sandisk memory and works fine but when i put into e200 the 512mb or 256mb Kingstoms memory didn't play at all.

why this hapen's?

The E200 only support single layer SD cards NOT dual layer.

I found this out when trying one and e-mailed Kingston who very nicely found this information out for me. My Sandisk replacement works fine.

I believe Kingston are a no go area when it comes to the E200. Maybe cards under 256Mb will be fine though.

And want's the difference between the sd single and dual layer?

Nothing in reality, it's the same as single sided and dual sided memory for pc's.

Instead of fitting the memory on 1 layer it's on 2. It has no affect on the card in reality I don't think. I guess the SPV phones are unable to read across layers.

Thanks guys/girls.

Does anyone know where that link is?

What about 1Gb cards? Are Sandisk still the way to go?

Yes thanks Disco Stu.

This thread may as well be locked now.

p.s - When I say "dual layer" I mean multi-cell.
