C500 Screen Problem?

Done a search, apologies if already posted.

Got my C500 last week direct from Orange on an upgrade. In the last couple of days I have noticed a problem with the screen. It's a bit tricky to describe but It's noticeable when using the camera and media album.

This is where I've noticed it most - I go into Multimedia Album and the thumbnail view comes up. I select a photo or video. The photo or video is displayed but the layout of the thumbnail grid can still be seen as a "shadow" on the screen. It eventually fades away but is quite annoying. Its also noticeable on games when the screen fades to black - you can still see remnants of the screen before it faded.

Has anyone else noticed this, is it common or should I be sending the phone back for replacement?

I can't say I've heard of that fault problem before, but it definitely sounds like a hardware fault.

You need to send it back to Orange for a replacement. Give Customer Services a ring and I'm sure they'll arrange for a courier to swap you a new one. :lol:

I have the same problem on my Audiovox SMT 5600 after the second day of use. I hope that Audiovox USA will honor the warranty on this unlocked phone.

Also I don't know if Florin will be kind enough to give me a free unlocking on the replacement handset or not.
