Guest micropathic Posted November 27, 2004 Report Posted November 27, 2004 Hey Kandeman, I decided to write an application that does what you are describing concerning mobile favorites. In the application, you just click the button circled below in the screenshot: After clicking it, it will save the favorite to your Favorites folder on your device. I am close to completing this software, it's currently working properly, I just to need to test it some more. I can't afford to make the software freeware, but I will be sure to make it plenty affordable. However, I need to know the path to the favorites folder for all of the smartphone devices on the market today. For instance, IPSMWindowsFavorites or StorageWindowsFavorites. Does anyone know if these paths are correct? If I can just get a couple of people to post the paths to their Favorites folder in this thread, that would be very helpful. Also, does anyone know if the Favorites folder is named differently when using deffernt languages? Thanks for any help!
Guest webcash Posted November 28, 2004 Report Posted November 28, 2004 There is a programme for series 60 called sms counter which is excellent. It counts all the texts you send in total daily monthly and by each person telling you how many you have sent and received from each person.I would find something like that fantastic on the c500 Anyone? Guest kanuut Posted November 30, 2004 Report Posted November 30, 2004 A global volume control and a new, more user friendly SMS application would be great.
Guest paralegal99 Posted November 30, 2004 Report Posted November 30, 2004 I hope this is the right area to post this. I wish I was a programmer but the application I'd like to see is one that you imput your miles (kilometers) and gallons (litres) of fuel and will track your MPG (KPL). Additionally what I think would be cool is if you could imput the next scheduled maintenance by miles (kilometers) and date. By imputting the mileage when filling up and once that date or mileage has been reached a nice reminder alarm would then show up to remind you that the next schedule service is due. This would be helpful for Oil changes, tire rotation and major services due. I think this application would be popular and profitable for who ever can develop such a thing for the smartphone. Guest jsnielsen Posted December 1, 2004 Report Posted December 1, 2004 A proper phone billing app ! One where you can enter how much conversations cost, per minute, how much an sms costs. How much roaming costs, and the ability to automatically sense when you're roaming, and then using the roaming prices. Also, it should be able to sense whether you're calling a stationary phone or a mobile phone. And you should be able to enter yourself, costs to other operators - both mobile and stationary. Then you should be able to mark contacts as using your operator, or another, so prices could be calculated exactly. It would also have to have a proper reporting tool, so you can see which contacts you've been calling most, and how much the costs are. THAT would kick ass !
Guest element Posted December 1, 2004 Report Posted December 1, 2004 An app that lets you select guitar chords, and then shows you where to put your fingers to play it.
Guest kandeman Posted December 1, 2004 Report Posted December 1, 2004 any update on the mobile favourite program
Guest micropathic Posted December 1, 2004 Report Posted December 1, 2004 Sure is, check HERE: Is your favorites folder spelled "Favorites" or "Favourites"? I ask because, it will not work right now if it is named "Favourites" becuase it currently copies the shortcut to the "Favorites" folder. I could make it work with "Favourites" folder though if I find I need to. So, if you would be so kind as to let me know what your folder is named, I would really appreciate it.

Guest Sage Posted December 6, 2004 Report Posted December 6, 2004 voice recognition for SMS :) or even for normal controlling over phone
Guest hvilorio Posted December 7, 2004 Report Posted December 7, 2004 I would love to see an SMS application that works similar to the one found on the Treo 600. One that "...stores the SMS like in a chat, in a single thread for each contact. In the inbox you see only the names of the persons that you have sent SMS to, and by opening them you see the whole history and can send a new SMS"

Guest Socrates Posted December 28, 2004 Report Posted December 28, 2004 I'd like to see some way to make an MS Smartphone automatically start a bluetooth sync as soon as it's in range of the target PC. I'm still in shock this isn't a standard feature.
Guest chucky.egg Posted December 28, 2004 Report Posted December 28, 2004 @ Socrates Have a search for BTAutoSync Posted from my SmartPhone!
