Guest seaninca Posted November 16, 2004 Report Posted November 16, 2004 Hi. I am new to the world of smart phones. I just bought SMT 5600 three days ago. I like it very much. There are few things that I would like to know. I did the search, but it was not successful. First, how can I disconnect the GPRS connection? There are two "G" indications at the top of the screen. The one one the center means GPRS is available. The one on the right means that GPRS is connected. The one on the right side stays on all the time once the GPRS connection is made until the phone is turned off. I know that, on C500, you can hold the home key to select the GPRS disconnect. It does not work on my phone. Second, does my phone have the capability of updating the time from the provider? My old Nokia 6200 did that. For example, set the time to 12:00 when it is actually 9:00, then turn off the phone. Next time when I turn on the phone, it will automatically update the clock to the correct time by using the system's time. Last, I use MAC, and I don't have Virtual PC software. Is there any hope for me to use softwares available? I saw very nice ones under Home screen section here. I am sure those questions have come up before. I am just new here. Please help me. My phone is a lot smarter than I am so far. Thank you very much.
