Guest xerxes Posted November 16, 2004 Report Posted November 16, 2004 I know this is a really silly question and the answer will be so obvious that I'll kick myself but this has been driving me crazy all week. I often play games on my phone when I'm on the Tube. In fairness to everyone around me I try not make any bingley bingley bong noises. On the Treo I can turn off all game sounds from a central setting. On my Nokia I can turn off the sounds from the game's options screen. On my (otherwise utterly brilliant) new C500 I cannot find any way to make Smartris or SPV Invaders silent. Am I overlooking the obvious or is there really no way to do this?
Guest gpcarreon (MVP) Posted November 16, 2004 Report Posted November 16, 2004 Have you tried adjusting your phone's earpiece volume?
Guest muff Posted November 16, 2004 Report Posted November 16, 2004 well SPV Invaders has a volume control built into the game as well - just read the readme.txt that comes with it for keys
Guest xerxes Posted November 16, 2004 Report Posted November 16, 2004 Pzee, I don't usually wear the headset. I have tried using the volume keys on the side but they don't seem to effect the volume of the speaker. Muff, I didn't get a readme.txt. Just an exe in a zip file. Could you attach the text file if you still have it?
Guest awarner [MVP] Posted November 16, 2004 Report Posted November 16, 2004 Just turn the phones volume down before loading a game :? That's what I normally do.

Guest siu99spj Posted November 17, 2004 Report Posted November 17, 2004 ...any bingley bingley bong noises.  I love it!!!! 'Bingley, bingley bong noises'. Though I must admit, no game I've played makes noises quite like that. [Yes, OK its Off-Topic, but I'm in a good mood today for some reason]
