Accessing work emails

Hi, could someone help?!?!

I am trying to access my work emails on my C500 but cannot seem to get it right.

I have set it as a POP3 account - the incoming server is the one my mail.xxxx.net (my host) and outgoing it smtp.orange.net - are these settings correct as I keep getting a "Unable to connect" message when I click on send/receive.

The outgoing one is correct, but I can't tell you whether the incoming one is - it looks like it might be, but where did you get the info from?

You could check your username and password, especially if either contain digits (it's easy to put a letter in where you meant to put a digit in the password field)

Try the same settings on your PC and see if that works

I'm assuming you have a data connection on the phone. If you use GPRS you could call Orange and ask for them to send you the "Orange GPRS" settings over-the-air.
