CityTime: When alarm goes off on 5600

When the alarm goes off on the CityTime application on my 5600, and the 5600 is in device mode, it will still ask for the password to SNOOZE or DISABLE the alarm

Why is that? The ability to snooze or disable the alarm should supersede the device lock - once snoozed, then the 5600 can go back into being locked...

Anyone find this just crazy? When the alarm goes off, i have to get to my phone and type in the phone's device lock code to unlcok it, then i can snooze... why not the reverse?!
