VirtualDub is a good AV processing program. There are a lot of AV-related stuffs you can tweak with it like the video codec of choice, the audio format, filters etc. We have a very nice guide on media encoding at the FAQs Section prepared by siu99spj. Follow this link for the guide:

i use virtual dub too

depending on your phone u can change bit rates

the c500 can play really high bitrates

the e200 packs a punch too

if you are willing to sacrifice a bit of audio quality you can achieve impressive results on the e200 (video wise)
