Downloaded CD song for Alarm sound?

I have SMT5600. I am trying to set up the alarm sound by using a downloaded CD song. But, it not successful so far. I was able to set up the ring tone by using the same downloaded CD song, though.

I downloaded one CD song into Storage/My Documents/My Sounds. Then, I went to My Alubum to play that song. During the song is playing, I went to the MENU - SAVE - SAVE AS RING TONE FOR LINE 1. It made the CD song one of the ring tones. I was hoping that it would make the CD song one of the alarm sound. But, it did not do that.

The ring tone file and the alarm sound file contain the exactly the same sounds/tones, now, except the CD song in the ring tone file. I can see that under Settings/Sound.

What do you think?
