sms delivery reports on spvc500

My previous phones delivery report had the ability to confirm receipt of sms to a specific contact name. When the SPV C500 gives a confirmation it replys in a number recevied form. This is confusing as I have over 650 numbers in my contact folder. Does anyone know how to change the setting so that the report reflects a contact name instead of a number?

how are your contacts stored? +44... or 0...

my phone displays the name the message was sent to i think so it sounds like problem with how contacts are formatted

It has nothing to do with +44 or 0, I think?

I have both prefix formats stored in my contact book.

I think your referring to the stored message within your sent items box wich does store the contact the sms was created for not the delivery notification wich still comes back in a number format....

Delivery reports are sent after you send a message, I'm not sure how

this can be confusing as it does not relate to the number of contacts

you have or are you trying to send to multiple contacts at the the same time?

I think he means when he gets thew report back it has the number rather then the persons name if its in his contact list. This is nothing to do with the format of the number, it one of the few thinbgs i dont like about the c500, hopefully they will sort it out 1 day.
