Guest phillyjaq Posted November 19, 2004 Report Posted November 19, 2004 Well, I couldn't decide between the Audiovox and the MPX220 so I bought one of each and I'm testing them out. Now, for the most part the are comparable, but the voice dial on the MPx is much better. My issues is this, I can't seem to get it working through the bluetooth headset. I've tried a Jabra BT200, BT250 and a Plantronics M2500, but to no avail... Am I missing something? I'd like to make a final decision on this soon and put the looser back on eBay.
Guest Foxman Posted November 19, 2004 Report Posted November 19, 2004 Unfortunately, Motorola used the default bluetooth stack from Microsoft and it does not support voice-dial through the headset. It does, however, transfer the audio to the headset after dialing, which is sufficient in my case.
Guest MadSci Posted November 19, 2004 Report Posted November 19, 2004 Sounds like a prime target for a little Hacking. Any takers?
Guest gsr264 Posted November 19, 2004 Report Posted November 19, 2004 unfortunatly, I don't think this is possible. It seems what needs to be changed is embedded in the rom and is unable to be changed.
