Guest mitsui Posted November 20, 2004 Report Posted November 20, 2004 Hello During you are writing a word for ex. in an sms and I'm using T9 it is always possible to change to word... but as soon as you are at the next word or when you have finished your mail you can't go back and change the word again... using my nokia this was possible. is there a way to do so? That would be very helpful, because otherwise you always have to dele the word and write it new..
Guest awarner [MVP] Posted November 20, 2004 Report Posted November 20, 2004 I'm not sure what you mean? Are you refering to editing the new word you have just stored in T9?
Guest mitsui Posted November 20, 2004 Report Posted November 20, 2004 yea that would be interesting too... how to do that! But I mean not the stored ones... I more the are entering when you write an sms. During the time you write the word it is underlined so long you can also change it... but as soon as you go on writing the word isn't underlined anymore and then you can't change it - you know what I mean?
Guest rct_uk Posted November 20, 2004 Report Posted November 20, 2004 Unfortunately this feature hasn't been implemented. It is a bit annoying at first but you soon get used to checking more carefully as you type!
Guest Confucious Posted November 21, 2004 Report Posted November 21, 2004 It is one of the two failings of this implementation of T9 (the other being that you can't edit your custom words). I'm afraid you just have to get used to it.

Yeah, I'm annoyed by that. I'm so used with my T610 where I can the word to be changed from the drop down list after typing away. But with my C500, I'd have to edit or delete the word! Perhaps future update will fix this.
Guest yoos Posted January 6, 2005 Report Posted January 6, 2005 I used to have this on a previous phone (not SP) and I agree it would be useful if the smartphones had it...
