IM Woes on T-Mobile...

So I just got the SMT5600 unlocked thanks to Florin and I am installed software. I used to have a Treo 600 with T-Zones and I was able to use IM on all IM's. I try to use it on my new phone and no dice. I am trying to get this to work but can't seem toget it right. I am trying to configure and although I can get to internet sites and SMS, IM dont work.

Any Ideas?

I use agile messenger for AOL IM. MSN Messenger won't work though.agile messenger

I don't believe the correct ports are open on Tmos end. I have had this same problem and it just won't work. Haven't tried T-Zones Pro.

FWIW, t-zones and t-zones Pro have the same ports open.

Is T-Zones like Orange World? If so, your IM won't work through that.

You need a GPRS Internet-account activated with T-Mobile. There IS a difference. :lol:

My thing is that it worked really well when I had the Treo 600. Same plan and I think same software (be it Palm version). No biggie as long as I can surf.
