Engineering Mode works!

All the "hacks" for the MPx200 work on the MPx220. I tried them tonight while killing time. I will not post the codes that work because some of them will (and I repeat) will screw up the phone if done without knowing what you're doing.

By posting the codes, it would make it too easy. By making those who want to try them find them (and they are VERY easy to find) on their own, they are going out of their way for the information so they are solely responsible.

But for those curious... I tried them all. They all work. Enter at your own risk...

If I can get my hands on the latest downloadable FW, I can try to disassemble everything and see what else is possible. Motorola told me they will not offer the upgrade for download.

thanks a lot awarner , ive been searching the net all afternoon yesterday and found none (codes) that works. and not knowing that its only under my nose (at Modaco) :oops: thanks again, i sure hope that i don't mess up my phone playing with this engineering mode. :D

If you hit the wrong thing, you can and will kill your phone or at least make it so it doesn't work correctly.

BE CAREFUL

I have wrecked many phones figuring out all these commands. I had them to spare and at the time, could reflash the eeprom myself so it wasn't a big deal. It's not that way anymore...
