Best Caller ID software?

I have a C500 and have been playing around with the free caller id program. It seems a bit limited, pictures often being too big and covering the name and phone number or too small. It doesn't seem to be too configurable. What is the best caller id software? I'm sure there used to be 2 or 3 different apps out there, I think one of them was free.

try www.pocketx.net - their photo contacts v2.0 is not free but there's a trial you can download - it seems pretty good, flexible. allows the photos to be stored on your miniSD, and you can crop the pictures to the right size within the program: a useful feature.

i don't know of any other software sadly. have you tried a search?

i use IDENTIFY its based on HTML templates :lol: so its easy to make wicked caller templates

May I ask what IDENTIFY is? just did a search and you can imagine how many results were returned. Do you have a link for me please?

Well, i found a nother solution.

By taking pictures with my digital camera of my contacts, i downloaded them to my pc

Edited them with photoshop, included there names next to there faces.

Then installed them as 'full screen' caller-id.

Now when one of my contacts calls me, my spv c500 shows me there picture full screen, with there names.

Thats a good idea m8, I'll give it a try but with C500 photo's as I still haven't got around to buying a digital camera. The only downside I can see is getting everyone to pose for their photo. It's bad enough getting people to pose infront of my C500 for their caller id photo, " If you don't F*** off I'll stick that phone........" being a common response!. Anyone else get this kind of response?
