Anybody got Orange backup / Orange Update working yet ?

A couple of people on the Orange mailing list state they have ... but no firm replies seem to indicate that the service is not yet up & running !

I have Orange Backup working fine, but I always get an error when I try to do Orange Update!

Neither Backup nor Update working for me either.

Backup: Error! A network error has occurred

Update: The connection with the server was reset

Just tried the Backup created account ok and managed my first backup !! Off to try the update now

Yes, it downloaded two small updates. Didn't see the first one but the second one was "Ringtone". There don't seem to be any new ring tones, though, and I can't detect anything else that's different.

Mine is working now, but just says my SPV is up to date...

At least the 'Orange Update' features is nice if they deploy useful fixes via it!

Another feature that is now working !

As previous posters have said, it downloaded 2 items, the second being a ringtone.

Orange Backup is also working as well - nice feature !

Just took delivery of a replacement C500 (my old one was faulty) and now I can't restore my contacts etc from Orange backup.

Getting "a network error has occured". Also Orange downloads (replacement for Orange update) doesn't work, although GPRS access seems fine. Aaaarrghhh (frustration)!!!

Hi. I can't help with your problem but just wanted to say that it's good to see someone new using the site's search function; I think you must now hold the record for the oldest thread that's been revived - 23 months. Congrats ^_^
