Guest schmeegle Posted November 22, 2004 Report Posted November 22, 2004 Hi, I noticed over the weekend that when I try to play a couple of ringtones I put on my C500 through the settings-sounds screen, or even WMP they don't work, no sound at all. But when my phone rings they play fine. I thought it might be to do with my earpiece volume being to low, but when I tried to adjust the buttons didn't work at all (they have before). Also, no joy retrieving a voicemail, but I guess that's maybe a network not hardware thing. ](*,)
Guest schmeegle Posted November 22, 2004 Report Posted November 22, 2004 would you think a hard reset is the only solution? onlu had the phone about 2 weeks
Guest chucky.egg Posted November 23, 2004 Report Posted November 23, 2004 For some reason the files don't play if you try to open them through File Manager or similar. If they dont play when you go to Settings/Sounds and switch between ringtones (remember, you have to leave it a second or two before it starts "previewing" the tone) then there might be something odd going on there.
Guest schmeegle Posted November 23, 2004 Report Posted November 23, 2004 they don't even play through media player. picking up a big memory card (seem to remember seeing a 512 one for about £65 on the net) in a few days, so will reset then and see what happens. Does anyone know of a program that will back up everything on a smartphone to a pc? That Orange bak-up doesn't seem to.
Guest Confucious Posted November 23, 2004 Report Posted November 23, 2004 Check out the thread on Mini-Sd cards512 can be had for less than £65 now.
