Guest Oranges&lemons Posted November 22, 2004 Report Posted November 22, 2004 Hi Guys, I've just upgraded from a Nokia 7250 to an Orange SPV C500. I am totally impressed with it and love it to bits. However when my mate(moto V600) tried to send me either images or ringtones via bluetooth, the handsets greeted each other but said that this service was not supported. This totally jacked me off because the reason I upgraded was because I couldn't get the infrared port on my 7250 to work. Is this because Orange want people to use Media messaging or am I doing something wrong?? How can I get round this? Any help greatly appreciated.
Guest Dr Who Posted November 22, 2004 Report Posted November 22, 2004 Which way is it saying service not supported - on your handset or his? You need to enable incoming beams in settings to receive files via BT.
Guest Oranges&lemons Posted November 23, 2004 Report Posted November 23, 2004 Cheers Dr Who appreciate that, Thats sorted out the incoming transfers. Still having a bit of a mare exporting stuff - but I've got another thread going in the help forum, hopefully you guys will sort me out.

Guest Oranges&lemons Posted November 24, 2004 Report Posted November 24, 2004 Cheers Doc I've ended up downloading Smart Explorer and so far it's looking good. Need to get round my friends to try it out but at least it has the option for BT transfer so I assume it should work just fine.
