Guest bronksy Posted November 23, 2004 Report Posted November 23, 2004 So it's here.. but before we're all rushing to buy one.. we must ask ourselves, is it freak or unique? Who will feel stupid using it as a handset? Who likes the look? Is it practical on a night out?
Guest awarner [MVP] Posted November 23, 2004 Report Posted November 23, 2004 It's designed to be used hands free the same way as it's previous designs.
Guest Dade Posted November 23, 2004 Report Posted November 23, 2004 You really need to experience the handset before you can properly appreciate it, its very good!
Guest Monolithix [MVP] Posted November 23, 2004 Report Posted November 23, 2004 I'll be using a BT headset (if i ver get one!). Also, is it just me that feels the poll options are the wrong way round...?
Guest element Posted November 23, 2004 Report Posted November 23, 2004 Also, is it just me that feels the poll options are the wrong way round...? Im with you on that one
Guest Pigo Posted November 23, 2004 Report Posted November 23, 2004 I agree. for it to be used as a hands free set is ok, but still on a night out... wearing a shirt and some kind of pants with a phone like brick in it is not my idea of a good night out. i'd be watching out for it rather than enjoying my night out. just to freakishly big for me. Pigo
Guest bronksy Posted November 24, 2004 Report Posted November 24, 2004 ahh well i intended the post to be read with this first.. we must ask ourselves, is it freak or unique? yes... No.. so this makes sense.. to me anyway. Apologies for my newbieness!
Guest Monolithix [MVP] Posted November 24, 2004 Report Posted November 24, 2004 Two options, you cant have a yes or no answer!
Guest Dade Posted November 24, 2004 Report Posted November 24, 2004 I'd be interested to know if anyone voting that they think the M2000 is a brick has actually seen the device for themselves and not just in photographs. Play with the device for a few minutes then tell me you think its stupid.
Guest awarner [MVP] Posted November 24, 2004 Report Posted November 24, 2004 we must ask ourselves, is it freak or unique? None of the above really as this is the third generation of this device. So it's more of a been there done that but the m2000 does it better
Guest Palindrome Posted November 24, 2004 Report Posted November 24, 2004 None of my local shops seem to have it on display. For a truely objective opinion the shop would have to loan it to me for a few days. Probably by that time I'd have grown to love it and scarper'd to Brazil.
