Sound play at startup

Is there a setting so that a sound will play at startup and shutdown?

Yes depending on the phone you have.

The MPX200 has it's own settings in the registry for start up and shut down.

The general settings are for Start Up only

HKEY_CURRENT_USER/Control Panel/Sounds/SystemStartup

Select 'Values'

Select 'Sound'

Change Value Data to the path and name of your wav (eg, if you save the wav to IPSMWindows then the value is simply IPSMWindowsblah.wav, where blah.wav is the name of your wav file of course)

DO NOT use the storage card as a location for your sound file.

Only the MPX200 has the shutdown sound other phones cannot play on shutdown.

If you mean the shut down sound then no I'm afraid :lol:

The registry shows an entry for shutdown but changing the location there does not have an effect on the phone.
