Guest lllr Posted November 23, 2004 Report Posted November 23, 2004 Just for your pleasure...Smartphones_All.JPG
Guest Monolithix [MVP] Posted November 23, 2004 Report Posted November 23, 2004 All those phones, even difficult to get ones. Yet no Tanager?!
Guest Pondrew Posted November 23, 2004 Report Posted November 23, 2004 Isn't the iMate version of the E200 (labelled here the SP) called the SP2? And that MPX220 looks huge alongside the MPX200  EDIT: and just realised that he's called the SPV an SPV E100
Guest awarner [MVP] Posted November 24, 2004 Report Posted November 24, 2004 Yep the E200 and the iMate SP are the same phone just different rom versions. Same applies to the iMate SP3 and Dupod 565 Still a nice display of phones and as mentioned above no tanager (E100, 7070 etc)
Guest Confucious Posted November 24, 2004 Report Posted November 24, 2004 Nice - but you must have lots of pockets to carry them all  And no black C500 - but as you have the SP3 and Dopod 565 having a 3rd version of the same phone would be a little OTT. I was suprised at how small the voq is - I've only seen pictures with nothing to commpare it to and thought it was bigger.
Guest Palindrome Posted November 24, 2004 Report Posted November 24, 2004 With all those phones you could do that Brainiac experiment to see if using your mobile phone at a petrol station is in fact dangerous. You will need a caravan that has had it's interior liberally sloshed with petrol, a stack of phones placed throughout the caravan, and a load of mates to give you a call at exactly the same time. The caravan probably won't exploded, which would be a relief as I certainly wouldn't want my E200 fragged Instead, remove the phones, run a wire to the caravan, build up a good static charge using your cloths and touch the safe end of the wire to discharge the static down the wire to see a pillar of fire and a stredded caravan.
Guest olly_k Posted November 24, 2004 Report Posted November 24, 2004 Nice collection  most of my old phones have always previously been part-exed so I only have my T68 left ;) not much to brag about really :? Hey Palindrome, has someone actually done the petrol and phone experiment then? would love to see it LOL :D I for one always thought it was a little bit of BS about mobiles and petrol stations - maybe the first generation phones use to be different...?

Yes, Sky One in the UK do a programme called Brainiac. They are caravan haters and use any reason possible to blow them up using various chemicals. It's hosted by the short guy off of Top Gear, and I suspect they use the same airfield for the experiments.
Guest Confucious Posted November 24, 2004 Report Posted November 24, 2004 Brainiacs is repeated on Sky one and Sky one Mix but don't know if you can catch last weeks again as the next one is on tomorrow (Thurs)
Guest lighthouse82 Posted November 24, 2004 Report Posted November 24, 2004 I wouldn't mind fragging my E200 - the keypad's unresponsiveness is really p*ssing me off!! Did anyone see the guys playing caravan conkers on Top Gear last week? Priceless. Dazza, how are you enjoying your free M2000??
Guest kurtfhouse Posted November 25, 2004 Report Posted November 25, 2004 Thanks IIIr, its quite interesting to see them all together like that
