Using C500 update on a 5600 Pros and Cons.

Hey all,

First off thanks to everyone for helping me out and I promise that I will try to not post as many noob questions. I am learning. I do have a couple of questions

1. Can I back up my original rom? Is there a program that can extract and then put it back?

2. Are the gaming benefits of the upgrade worth doing it?

3. Media Player 9 vs 10. Is there any other program that I could buy that would be as good or better than 10?

1, No

2, yes and no as the update fixes gapi but adds a lack of multipress bug.

3, Cannot say as I do not use Media Player as I prefer Pocket MVP and Beta Player for my media needs :lol:

The update will break an SMT5600 as it flashes a 900/1800/190 radio stack.

Not an issue for US T-Mobile (1900mhz only) users. :lol:
