Losing my signal

My Mio8390 has lost its signal about 4 or 5 times today, even though I am in the city and it should not lose a signal. When this happens, I have to shut off the phone and turn it back on. Is there a way that I can set the phone to automatically find the signal again if this happens so that I don't have to turn the phone off and on again?

You could try using the flight mode on then off function to make it re-search for a connection?

To turn on Flight Mode, press the End key you will find the Flight mode below the switch off mode.
