audio output

hello,

i am finally thinking of getting my spv finally as my local shop is willing to get it for me at perhaps a much lower price than advertised elsewhere (less than £160)

i want to use it as an mp3 player in my car (saves buying a mp3 head unit/complete redoing of audio system=hassle) through the tape player (using of those tape-to-35mm jack thingies) and was wondering whether this was possible, or if the output on the spv c500 is proprietary (ie that i cant get hold of a mini-jack-->35mm plug-->tape thingie-->car audio system) or whether i will be able to do this.

also, ps where best to get miniSD (ebuyer?!) 512mb cheap?

Hi 5aboy,

You will be able to get a 2.5mm jack to 3.5mm jack convertor from maplins for 79p (I think) which will allow you to use your tape adaptor no problem.

I got my Kingmax 512mb miniSD card for £53 + £5 p+p from eBay. Give it a search and look out for the 'Buy it now' auctions. Go for some dude with thousands of positive feedback.
