Guest goosegog Posted November 25, 2004 Report Posted November 25, 2004 Hi there. I'm about to receive a C500 and was wondering if anyone can recommend a Bluetooth in-car kit at a good price? I'm looking for one which will mute my stereo and work with my C500. I don't want an ear piece! Many thanks for any replies Ferg

Im am just waiting to get one at the moment. Do a search on the forums and you find some info on them.
Guest travisb Posted November 25, 2004 Report Posted November 25, 2004 I have a Parrot ck3000 which does exactly what you want.
Guest goosegog Posted November 25, 2004 Report Posted November 25, 2004 Thanks for the replies guys. Will do
Guest goosegog Posted November 25, 2004 Report Posted November 25, 2004 Um, I have some new questions! If I want Sat Nav AND hands free calling, do I need both the Copilot Bluetooth GPS QuickStart AND the Parrot CK3300 GPS or do I only need one GPS device? Many thanks in advance for your help Ferg btw - wtf? No cradle?!?!
Guest travisb Posted November 27, 2004 Report Posted November 27, 2004 You need both. The Parrot acts as your GPS device (a la Fortuna Clip On). Co-Pilot is the software that interacts with it (via Bluetooth) on your phone. Remember to buy the software only version of Co-Pilot!
Guest goosegog Posted December 2, 2004 Report Posted December 2, 2004 Did any of you guys (or anyone reading) fit their own Parrot? I got mine today and fitted it (power, batt, earth, speaker connections, plugged in etc) but I have no sound from the unit. My stereo sounds fine so the speaker connections are going in and out the splitter they supply but when the unit mutes my head unit it fails to send any feed to my speakers. Any ideas? What are the green and brown line in input wires for? Also - how do you get the C500 to allow the Parrot access to its phone book? Thanks!
Guest pwald Posted January 22, 2005 Report Posted January 22, 2005 can anyone tell me if the Parrot's "perform" or are able to work with the auto-answer facility over bluetooth for the c500. I ahve a CK-7W that does everything bar actually auto-answer calls over bluetooth...
Guest bigdan Posted January 23, 2005 Report Posted January 23, 2005 I have a Parrot ck3000 which does exactly what you want. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Travis, have you had your parrot box updated or is it a new one? I bought the ck3000 a few years ago for my T68 but haven't managed to get it to work with any of my SPV's. Maybe if i send it to be updated it'll work? Please tell me, can you "Voice Dial"? And does it upload your contacts from the phone?
Guest pablik Posted March 21, 2005 Report Posted March 21, 2005 My Parrot doesn't answer calls automatically, yours?
