Some stupid questions

Hi guys, its my first post here. *ta ta daa* I have a Qtec 8010 which as i understand is the same as C500!?

* Just found out the basic about the phone but still kinda confused where everything is saved *hehehe* is there anyone who has the full info about the paths?

Another question i have is, when your on the phone with someone, its quite common that i want to write a phone no down. I know i can type in a number while i speak, but how do i save it?? Would be really neat if the phone had a notepad that i quickly could access and then just save the no there if i dont wanted to make him an "offical contact"

* So questions are how do i save the number i wrote down while speaking on the phone and is there a notepad funtcion that is accessable while speaking??

* Also im interested in a free alarm plugin since the one in the phone is kinda loosy :lol:

* Is there any good calender program that is freeware?

* Is battery Manager 2.0 the best freeware in this category?

* Where can i find the MS mediaplayer encoder version 7 since v9 is the only one i can find on MS homepage and the "encode guide" i found on Modaco is based on 7?

Anyone but me who has the Scandinavian version Qtek 8010 here :D ?

You can add the number as a Task otherwise there are third party apps like Orneta notepad.

Richie_M has made an Alarm Plugin this can be found in the Customisation section.

Good Calender program? Have a look at the on already on the phone

as it is a cut down version of Outlook but anything you do on Outlook on the PC will be transfered to the phone :lol:

Erm I did in my first post :?

You can add the number as a Task otherwise there are third party apps like Orneta notepad.

ie in the start menu click on "Tasks"

The calendar that comes with the phone is pretty good but if you are a heavy PIM user take a look at Power Calendar from DeveloperOne.

It costs a little money but it's well worth it in my opinon.
