Windows Smartphone 2003 SDK Emulator HELP

I'm not a programmer, I'm just making some homescreens and I figured that one could use the emulator to try it out without having to copy the homescreen to the phone over and over again. Problem is, I don't know where to put the files... Is there a "Storage" folder connected to the emulator anywhere?

I might be totally wrong about the whole idea, might not be possible at all but if anyone has an answer I'd sure appreciate it.
