qtek 8080 and updated rom

i have a qtek 8080 currently running 1.7.10.2 on O2 UK, am i safe to upgrade to 1.9.14 from the qtek.nu site, it says for swedish only phones but should it be ok no mine? also is it safe to do the upgrade with it in the usb cradle?

Updating phones always has risks but generally most people do not

have problems. If you install the ROM you will need to re-enter your

settings again but before you do decide to upgrade ask do you really need to do it and what improvments will it offer?
