Guest girlpantz Posted November 25, 2004 Report Posted November 25, 2004 I've had my C500 for 3 weeks (which I'm really unhappy with btw) and I cannot get bluetooth to work at all. I put it on discoverable and ask people to try and find me... sometimes they will, most times they won't. On the off chance they do and they try to send something to me, either a contact or a picture or something, I won't let them. Other way round, I can pick up other phones. There's no passkey in place.
Guest ddocta Posted November 26, 2004 Report Posted November 26, 2004 You say you wont let them send the file? I haven't had too many problems. A lot of problems with this phone can be solved by turning it off, then on, then re-trying whatever you wanted to.
Guest girlpantz Posted November 26, 2004 Report Posted November 26, 2004 It's not that I'm cancelling the transfer or anything like that... I want the files that people are trying to send me lol. The phone just won't allow them to send files to me, i.e. keeps failing. I'm already on the latest firmware as the phone is only 3 weeks old so the software shouldn't be a problem, although I shall try a hard reset this weekend before taking it back.
Guest NIGHTMARE Posted November 28, 2004 Report Posted November 28, 2004 what model of phone is trying to send you the files? try from a different phone, i know the k700 works 90% if the time, but sometimes you have to retry for some reason that i am not too sure about, if this fails and both phone ahve goob battery i would reccomend trying a hrad reset, failing that take it back and get a replcment.
Guest Dr Who Posted November 28, 2004 Report Posted November 28, 2004 Have you enabled "accept incoming beams" in settings. This is normally the problem if you can send but not receive.
