Installing VirtualDub problems

I tried installing VirtualDub 1.5.10 from http://www.digital-digest.com/dvd/download...ualdub_346.html and it keeps telling me the compressed zip folder is unstable or corrupt. This has happened to me a couple of other times, any idea whats wrong?

Check the size of the zip file from the link I gave you. It should be 777KB. If you have filesize mismatch then perhaps the problem is with your computer's firewall settings.

The zip file contains:

VirtualDub.vdhelp

vdicmdrv.dll

vdsvrlnk.dll

vdremote.dll

auxsetup.exe

VirtualDub.exe <-- Main EXE

VirtualDub.vdi

aviproxy folder

plugins folder

Those files are 778 and not 777,not sure how much that would matter though :?

So were you able to unzip the files already? You have to check also other zip downloads and observe how your computer handle zip files.

You can try this...attached is a copy of version 1.6 I packed into self-extracting archive (SFX). Disable your firewall first then download the file. To extract the contents, just click on the EXE.
