O2 email on PAYG any ideas on setting please (2003)

Well I guess this is bigger than me, figured out internet access fine but email is still a mystery.

Has anyone managed to collect email form a third party POP3 account (mine is on demon) using O2 pay as you go. Failing that has anyone managed to collect email from their O2 account.

Any response would be much appreciated
