Guest kevlar Posted November 27, 2004 Report Posted November 27, 2004 I've had my C500 only a week and am generally happy with it ( except the crap joystick and multipress problems ). Something strange has happened twice in the last 24 hours. I have a few wav files on my phone as ringtones, incoming text/email and as an alarm. I had an incoming call but instead of a nice clear ringtone I got a very distorted hissing almost white noise sound. The same happened when I received an email. The wav files play fine most of the time but this has happened twice. Anyone know what is going on? thanks in advance Kevlar
Guest element Posted November 27, 2004 Report Posted November 27, 2004 I had this with my E200, I just deleted the wav and then sent it again from my pc, it worked then.
Guest kevlar Posted November 27, 2004 Report Posted November 27, 2004 The thing is, it works most of the time, just twice now the wav files have played really distorted. They still work even now though. Kevlar
Guest kevlar Posted November 27, 2004 Report Posted November 27, 2004 I did have BT turned on the 2nd time, I was in the car with headset on when email arrived. Not sure about the first time, it may have been on. Is this a know problem when bluetooth is on? Thanks guys Kevlar
Guest C500pete Posted November 30, 2004 Report Posted November 30, 2004 If you've had the speakerphone on in the last call, and only pressed the Red end call button once, then the next incoming ring will ring through the speakerphone, sounding exactly as you describe.
Guest justinp Posted November 30, 2004 Report Posted November 30, 2004 Hi Ive had this quite a few times. Bluetooth is on and the phone is connected to my bluetooth headset. Its not every time so its not a corrupt wav file. Cheers JustinP
