Car Kits for e200 and c500

I'm going to get the new company car all car kitted up soon and have a couple of questions about car kits...

I have a E200 and will only be able to upgrade for free later next year (July, i think).

Is there anything available in the carkit market that would allow me to change the holder to the C500 i want to get later?

It's got be a proper installed setup as thats the only way work will do it so no halfords stylee vent clips and car charger setups will work out... I dont want to be forking out later if at all possible to replace the installation.

Also, anyone use Line 2 ? I'm not even too sure if this is available any more, let alone if the E200 supports it. I cant find anything in the phones menus and the manual bought the farm a while back when it got er, toddler-ed!

The only option that would allow you to change phones like that would probably be one of the Parrot Bluetooth car kits. Which i think are available from the modaco shop. The only thing is they don't have a direct connection to the phone so it would involve having something to hold, and if you so wish charge the phone additionally to the car kit itself.

There used to be a car kit on sale that was designed to be a generic car kit and you could change the handset holder as you changed your phone (which I personally thought was perfect) However if i remember correctly it had major problems with sound volume and was taken off the market. Don't know if these problems have been fixed and its been re-release as i read about it sometime ago. Not heard anything of its re release on MoDaCo though.

Its as i thought then.. cant have the E200 clip into a proper car kit. My work will only wire in a 'proper' setup so it'll be two phones for me still for a while then... makes you wonder why there is an external aerial connection on the phone if there isnt a car kit tho.

What about the line 2 thing anyone??

You can get to Line 2 on the E200, go to Start, Settings, Phone, Call Options, Current Outgoing Line. You have to call Orange to enable it first.

without the car kit tho i'm thinking its all a little academic. I could have had the E200 as the works phone and segregated the billing with line 2 but without a proper car kit, i shall have to suffer the ignominy of a... wait for it.. a Nokia 6310i!! yuk!!

This also throws into doubt whether i get the TomTom mobile GPS!! If i cant see the screen in a safe(ish) manner, thats half the benefit of the SatNav out the window...

Any ideas anyone?
