Guest sn1p3t Posted November 28, 2004 Report Posted November 28, 2004 about: Smart Solitaire Showdown is a remake of MSN's popular Solitaire Showdown for the Microsoft Smartphone. The game was programmed in C# using the .NET Compact Framework v1.0. Current Version 0.5a - 11/27/2004: the game should be playable as a single-player game. The framework for the netcode has yet to be completed. Controls: To select a column (for moving, etc...): 1-4: Select a column of cards from the right piles. *: Select a card from the "pouch" (the top left pile). #: Select the top most card from the "draw" (the bottom left pile) To draw: Left Soft Key: Draw the next three cards from the draw pile. To move columns: Select the column you want to move, and then select the destination. For example, to move column 1 to 3, hit 1 and then 3. You cannot move cards to the pouch or the draw pile. Selecting a colum and then selecting either the pouch or draw piles will result in only selecting the pouch or draw pile. To send cards to the top 8 piles: Double tab any column. For example, if the bottom card on the first column was an Ace of Hearts, you should hit 1 twice. Help: This application was written for the .NET Compact Framework. Windows Mobile 2003 users should have this installed in the ROM. Windows Mobile 2002 users will need to install the .NET Compact Framework 1.0 SP2 Redistributable onto their mobile. This application can also run on any PC with the .NET framework installed, although keymapping issues don't allow you to move any cards around. Guest sn1p3t Posted November 28, 2004 Report Posted November 28, 2004 Thanks for the app  Unfortunately I can not select or move cards around on my C500 :? Are you trying to do legal moves? Can you draw a set of three cards from the draw pile? I've only tested this on the Audiovox SMT5600, but that's the C500's foreign twin :D
Guest sn1p3t Posted January 26, 2005 Report Posted January 26, 2005 Just a little update. A developer at OpenNETCF has put some finishing touches on their bluetooth .NET library. I've been playing around with two Smartphones and it seems to be very nice. It seems a little laggy, but that might be because it has to connect to the other device every time it sends a message. I'm going to make a few changes and see if I can speed it up. Expect a full multiplayer version available in a few days.
