Guest GotPhil Posted November 29, 2004 Report Posted November 29, 2004 I purchased DVD-to-Mobile and it works great, however I have some newer DVDs and have noticed on some concert DVDs that DVD-to-Mobile will choke. I have read through some posts with great information on compressing video files to a size and format that works well on Smartphone, however I am trying to find someone with information on the best program and settings within that program to create a video file from a DVD. Right now I am trying DVDx which seems like a great program, however I really don't know enough about DVDs to know what to set everything to in the Input and Output Settings. So, please help! My only purpose for ripping is to put it on my Smartphone, my plan is to rip with DVDx then convert using the methods already posted in other threads. Also, I notice when copying AVIs to the storage card on my Smartphone it moves really slowly whether I use USB or Bluetooth. Is there any quicker way to copy files other than getting a SD card reader to copy the files with? This has been a very helpful forum that I've learned a lot from and I really appreciate everyone's help!
