My phone keeps on hanging...

I need help. I own a smart phone (2002) however it keeps on hanging more than once a day. I bought a memory card thinking it will hinder my phone from hanging. I am really getting frustrated because sometimes people try to contact me, however they cant reach me because the phone hangs. what shall i do? Do you have any recomendations? what program should i download so that it won't hang anymore?

What ROM version are you using? (Programs > Settings > About ... Operator: X.X.X.X)

There is a greater chance for you phone to hang if you have to many running programs in the background. You can effectively manage your running apps with binary's SP Task Manager or Xetra's Xbar.
