Reminders!!!

I have been dealing with the stupid task reminder syncing limitation for what seems like forever. With both my Pocket PCs & smartphones I have had to deal with this issue.

Can someone please finally explain to me in technical terms (or however you can) the reason why task reminder times do not sync?

I thought that maybe with the latest v of WM2003 this would be fixed. How could an issue as seemingly obvious and simple as this exists for so long?

If you have insight, please help me understand...
