1gb kingmax card in spv e100

hi,

i have just got a 1gb kingmax sd card but the problem is the phone can not find the sd card anyone know how to fix this?

when i look through from the pc at the files on the phone it used to say storage card in a folder and i used to copy them into there but it doesn't have it now

There are 3 problems I can think of.

1. Is the security switch on the side of the card locked ?

2. Have you put the card in the right way round ? :wink:

3. Is the card dual-layer ? They are not supported by the SPV range

how can i tell if it dual layer?

I've never set eyes on one myself, but the obvious answer is that it will say on the card itself. Or the packaging itself.

Stu it's only the E200 that cannot handle dual layer cards.

Kingmax have been questionable with the phones before and the

MPX200 I had did not like 256MB at all :?

I would try and format the card using Binarys Task Manager
