Answerphone and sending files via bluetooth

Does anyone know if there is any software for the spv c500 which acts as an answerphone so that you don't need to use voice mail. I know this is available for some nokia phones. Also is there a way on this phone to send files via bluetooth to another phone or an application that enables you to do this.

No, no Answerphone software that I'm aware of, I'd be interested in that too so I'm keeping my eyes open for it

As for sending files byy Bluetooth you can do this with SmartExplorer, but I'm not sure about the built-in File Explorer

Thanks, will let you know if I get any luck with the answerphone software, out of interest do you know if this phone can record live phone calls. BTW where can I get smart explorer?

Shame, i managed to get Smartexplorer but no option to send files to another phone by bluetooth , only IR.;-(

You've got the wrong version. Download the latest version from the Binarys website. Plenty of info in the forum.

Yes, tried that and working fine, seems a bit slow for the c500 to send a file by Bluetooth compared to my old P900 but at least it does the job.
