application lock sda

I received my SDA today and it looks really neat :lol: this is my first smartphone ever and i still need to get used to windows mobile. I searched these forums on how to unlock this thing and found something on mobilejoe. But you needed to do some stuff in the registry and yeah it was german so i was too scared to perform this.... Could anyone explain to me how to unlock my phone, in english. :oops:

I have an SDA too. As far i have not encountered any application, which did not install. So i guess only very few applications may be locked out.

Therefore i did not uncertify my phone yet.

sorry your in the wrong place, this is the c500 forum and the c500 can be software unlocked from orange directly or sim unlocked for £20 from a website(search modaco for sim unlock and you will find it) but i dont think you will get away with using orange to unlock your sda.

1. The SDA has no SIM lock, so you do not need to unlock

2. What the original author means is de-certifying the SDA not "unlocking"

3. This certainly is the correct forum. The forum description reads:

"Discuss issues specific to the HTC Typhoon and variants in here. These devices include the C500 / Audiovox SMT5600 / SP3 / SP3i / SDA / SDA Music and QTek 8010."

And? Has anyone already been able to remove the application lock from the SDA?

Will the Orange Application Unlock work on the SDA?

Application that won't run is e.g. Mapopolis.....
